2007 – 2008
One of my first major projects at the agency was the development of an icon system for Germany’s biggest telecom provider Deutsche Telekom. The project required a lot of traveling between Munich and the corporate headquarters in Bonn. I was part of a task force of designers who worked on a large amount of icons throughout several weeks on location in Bonn. The icons were supposed to work across all digital touch points from phone form factors to smart TVs. Hence they had to be scalable without loss and our team chose a vector based approach using Adobe Illustrator. Each icon was fleshed out in different grades of fidelity, from low-res 2D to high-res 3D.
