I used Framer as my go-to prototyping tool for a range of automotive UX concepts from early on low-fi to high-end multi device prototypes. Its capabilities were especially handy in the dynamic and data driven visualizations of the instrument cluster (IC). Besides my day job, I developed a lightweight IC concept: Everything of interest is shown in a 10″ display in front of the driver and all interactions would be done on the steering wheel or via voice control. The goal was to reduce the distractions for the driver while keeping the eyes on the road and the hands on the wheel. I presented my prototype at the Framer Meetup at frog design Munich.
